Altar Servers
Altar Servers are young men and women of the parish (4th grade and older) who volunteer to assist the celebrant at Sunday and weekday Masses, funerals, weddings and special liturgies. If you would like to be an Altar Server at Our Lady of Mercy Church contact the Moderator, Fr. Gregory Stasiak, at (718) 268-6143.
Lectors
Lectors are men and women of the parish who proclaim the Word of God at Sunday and weekday Masses and special services and liturgies. You are welcome to proclaim the Word at Our Lady of Mercy by becoming a Lector. Contact the Moderator:   Fr. Gregory Stasiak through the Rectory Office at (718) 268-6143.
Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic Ministers are lay people appointed by the Bishop to bring Communion to the homebound and to assist in the distribution of the Eucharist at parish liturgies. Would you like to do this ministry in our Parish? Please contact the Moderator, Fr. Gregory Stasiak at (718) 268-6143.
Cantors
Cantors are adult volunteers selected by audition to lead the song of the assembly at Sunday Masses and special services and liturgies. Monthly meetings are held with the Director to review scheduling and prepare music. We would be happy to invite new Cantors to lead the assembly in singing.

Hospitality Ministers
Hospitality Ministers are men and women of the parish who serve as ministers of welcome at Sunday Masses and special services and liturgies. They help direct the order of ceremonies and collect parish offerings. If you are interested in serving as a hospitality ministry, please contact the Moderator, Monsignor John McGuirl or Dean Dobbins

Music Ministry

Children’s Choir (Ages 9 and up) meets every Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm in the Church Choir loft.  All are welcome.
